Forest-Based to Bio-Based

Biobased products are made from renewable material such as trees, agricultural waste, or marine materials. In an introductory presentation to the Eastern Maine Development Corporation Advisory Group, Charlotte Mace and Mike Belliveau introduced the organization Biobased Maine and outlined the potential of biobased materials and products in Maine. Biobased Maine is a business association staffed by the Environmental Health Strategy Center.
