Charlotte directs the Sustainable Economy Program at Environmental Health Strategy Center, and she also staffs our business-led trade association, Biobased Maine, as its Executive Director. In these roles, Charlotte is responsible for advancing Maine’s sustainable economy through biobased manufacturing.
Charlotte graduated from Bowdoin College with an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry, with an added coordinating degree in Environmental Studies. She also holds an MBA from the University of Southern Maine with a focus on Sustainable Business. Charlotte has also taught at the University of Southern Maine’s Business School in the area of Triple Bottom Line Business. Prior to joining Environmental Health Strategy Center, Charlotte worked as a private consultant, assisting clients with sustainable consulting, particularly with sustainability reporting. For nearly a decade, Charlotte worked for Woodard & Curran, a national environmental consulting firm, where she was a Project Manager.
