Emily manages the Strategy Center's outreach programs to raise awareness, recruit supporters, and develop citizen leadership on a variety of environmental public health issues throughout Maine. Her work is closely coordinated with program and advancement staff. She leads the Organizing Team of our statewide coalition, the Alliance for a Clean and Healthy Maine, and manages the Strategy Center's Summer Internship Program.
Emily utilizes training opportunities to sustain and strengthen our citizen leadership development program in Maine, which touches 100+ community members, and mobilize and build membership engagement in our program work.
Emily has worked with Food and Water Watch in Washington, D.C., and the Silent Spring Institute in Boston. She graduated from the College of the Atlantic in 2011, where she studied Human Ecology with a focus on Environmental Justice and Food Systems.
