Say Thank You

We’re almost at the finish line, but we’re not there yet. Maine’s legislators voted to protect firefighters from toxic flame retardants by overwhelming margins: LD 182 passed 139-5 in the House, and 34-1 in the Senate.

This bipartisan victory shows this is an issue everyone can agree on: Firefighters put their lives on the line for all of us, and they should not be exposed to such toxic chemicals in the line of duty.

We need your help to push LD 182 over the finish line. Click here to contact your legislators today and say thank you for their support and ask them to keep fighting for Maine’s firefighters.
